Can the Lakers sign Arron Afflalo as a free agent?

No. The dude is going to get paid big money that we don't have. Would need a S&T.

I've been saying this for days. Why can't we at least try with our expiring Sasha TPE? It's gone after today.

I wonder if we could have gotten Afflalo for Odom.

There is no way Denver is giving this guy up, considering they lost Chandler, Smith and Kenyon.

If Mitch proposed that, no GM would ever take him seriously again. There is no way Denver is accepting the TPE for Afflalo.

What's going on with Afflalo? He hasn't signed with Denver yet. They have quite a few decent 2's on that team... why don't they send him and the rights to Wilson Chandler over here for our fat TPE? .......

^^I'll answer my own post..... :man10:

He was signed for 5 years/43 million this evening. That's 8 and change a year..... a little higher than I thought he'd get at this point. There were only a few teams left that could have bid on him. I was expecting something in the 6 to 7 range..... Oh well..... that dreams shattered....
