IF this isn't Championship Contender Team I Don't Know What Is!

this is for the one's who say we need defense.

this is for the one's who say we need 3 stars.

this is for the one's who say we need a post player.

this is for the one's who say "trade bynum!"

this is for the on'es who say "win now not later!"

this is for all of us who want this franshise to succeed.

Kwame/Mihm

Jeramine/Turiaf

Artest/Luke

Kobe/Evans

only if we can sign Mo Williams/Farmar

this is just one of many miracles Lakers need to pull so we can contend!
Iv'e been thinking about it and I'll rather get two all star players for Lamar & Bynum than just one super star(KG) I would rather have a team that can come at you from diffrent directions than a one-two punch where those 2 will be getting double teamed all the time.

oh yeah and think about the defence this team can have!!!

Kwame great D
O'Neal great D
Artest great D
Kobe great D
Williams Nice D

Kwame & Jermaine can handle all the bigs! like Duncan,Amare,KG,Yao,Dirk,Paul,ect...

Ron & Kobe can take care of all the perimeter players like Wade,Melo,Vince,Pierce,James,Ray Allen,Ginobli,ect...

Just a little comment Jermaine and Ron are not exactly buddies. Several times they had words while here in Indy.

Kwame's got decent defensive skills, when they can keep him on the court...

1) Unless theres's a gun to my head, I would never complete that trade.

2) Ron & Jermaine aren't exactly BFF's, so forget about it.

Come on guys. How many games? Kwame only has some D skills but it doesn't make him a great defender. Yes he is the best post defender in our team :man6: But it doesn't make him great defender too.

defense has many aspects.

Kwame is among the top 3 in post defense and the athletic ability/quickness among the bigmen. He is a slightly below average shot blocker (with his body he should get 3 bpg) and Kwame lacks the IQ to be smart on D and make better crisp rotations.

Kwame is very usefull against a guy like Duncan, Shaq, Yao, Gasol, Brand, Jermaine, KG, Boozer, ...

but he has not been healthy at all and struggled all year to defend anyone. Also his main problem is mind set. He doesn´t rebound nearly as well as he should.

Kwame's biggest problem, outside injury, is he has small hands. That's why he's so clumsy with the ball and such a butter fingers.

think about it ! you got ur decent Center who can box out, play good post defence and get you about 10 easy points and 7 rebounds. Then you got a true Power Forward who can demand the ball in the post witch will make the triangle offence run like the 3peat years!he can get you 10 rebounds! he can get you up to 5 block shots on a criticle game. then you you get the best all around Small Forward who steals pleanty of times, and can help Kobe shut down players or help him on the offence!then you get the best Shooting Guard in the game, your closer, the cherry on top! now you need a Point Guard (Mo Williams)who is good on one on one defence and can make the oposite pointguard work on defence!

Do you guys think this isn't a contender? just remember Artest and O'Neal did it with an old Reggie Milller.

They very well might trade Artest for Bynum, but we can get a lot more for Bynum and we could probably trade Kwame for Artest since Sac is really looking to send Artest somewhere else and Kwame could appeal to them.

I don't understand why you guys don't like Kwame?if you guys want him to be a star is never going to happen',but i think he's a good role player for a center we are only going to use him for defence and rebounds witch I think he can improve on. I don't see that many good center who can take his place for now

Kwame would probably be great as a back up center. Kwame is gifted. His Achilles heel is his small hands though. It make him a terrible ball handler and quite a klutz. He has been getting better since joining the Lakers, which is why he's in his prime market value right now.

If a team like Sac picks him up, they might find themselves a diamond in the rough, and if he's a bust then they can dump him at the end of next year since his contract will be expiring and add nine million to their cap room.

No one's arguing that Artest can't play the game, it's the drama he bring along with him. He played well this season, but he was a constant distraction for his whole team. He's missing games because of trials and his wifey's chasing his Escalade down the street with a frying pan. What team needs that?

So you're not going to get as much for a bad investment. Some team will trade their drama star for their drama star, or some desperate team with trade a few promising young players/aging veterans/draft picks to make their team a lot better right now.

Artest might help the team, if he can stay out of trouble. Bynum isn't worth maybe, Kwame is. I'd just as soon have Kidd.

Besides, Lamar should be playing SF and if you pick up Artest, then he'll be stuck in PF again and it's just not the right position for him. Then again, if you trade Lamar...

Well, if they're going to wait another year before they pick up another super star, they should just try for a sign and trade with Cleavland for LeBron.

He'll be two years through his three year contract and if Cleavland fails to continue surrounding him with better talent to continue moving up towards a championship, then he could demand a trade, and I'm sure he'd love to move to a team with a larger market.

How about Bynum, Brown, VRad, Cook, Vujacic & Farmar for Oneal, Daniels, Harrison, Marshal & Greene? Then Walton & Evans for Artest. Draft the best players then sign someone good(no more Divac or Mckie!) for the MLE. Mo Williams?

The 2007 LA Pacers... = )

O'neal - Mihm - Harrison

Odom - Turiaf -

Artest - Marshall

Bryant - Daniels

Williams, M. - Williams, S. - Greene

Imagine our first five against the West's best, San Antonio, Phoenix, Dallas, Utah & Houston

O'neal vs Duncan vs Stoudamire vs Dampier vs Boozer vs Yao

Odom vs Oberto vs Marion vs Howard vs Okur vs Hayes

Artest vs Ginobili vs Diaw vs Nowitzki vs Harpring vs TMac

Bryant vs Bowen vs Bell vs George vs Kirilenko vs Battier

Williams vs Parker vs Nash vs Terry vs Williams vs Alston
Go Lakers!!!
