Blazer in need of a big man (DJ ?)

Blazer in need of a big man (DJ ?)

With Oden down, the Blazers might be in need of another big man. I think DJ can be interresting for them. That's an opportunity for us to trade 1 of our bad contracts.

Do you think we can package Sasha or Luke with DJ to the Blazers for something valuable ?

I wouldn't mind getiing one of their unused SF or Andre Miller !!

I am so confused here.

1) DJ is not exactly the big man they'd be looking for.
2) DJ does not have a "bad contract", he's cheap.
3) To think you can package a 3rd string center with garbage and get something of quality is beyond ignorant.
4) NB4.

5) The Lakers don't deal with the Blazers.

Given playing time DJ has shown some nice things so far. I know he's not a premier center, but I'm sure from what he showed this season, many team might be interrested by his defense and cheap expiring contract. I don't see DJ as a starting center but a good backup.

I'm sure there might be a team in this league ready to bet on Sasha. Why not the blazers ? Don't forget he expires next year. We sign Morrison to get Shannon Brown. Morrison had 2 years left on his contract.

I know it might not be the greatest trade idea, but I'm sure you've seen crasiest suggestion on this forum.

To say your idea isn't as crazy as some of the others on the site isn't really any help to your crediblity buddy. Some of the suggestions here are doozies.

But in regards to this idea : Portand already has Pryzbilla who is a more than capable Center in this league. They're a pretty solid roster once Outlaw gets back and the Lakers should do nothing to try to help them.

Rule one : never help a competing power in your conference.
