I would say 26, MIhm and Cook is a solid deal for us and a so-so trade for the Hornets. They need a C and they like Mihm. I wouldn´t mind doing it and that means we might be able to grab a quality PG in the draft like ROndo, Marcus Williams or something like that.

We know Hornets have a lot of young talents, now they need vets not rookies to get them further. I think for them its time to get a few vets that can help the young guns like Snyder, Paul, JR Smith and this guys to grow.

exactly. He is 36 or 37 and he is done.

If we could get JR Smith in the deal and the pick, it would be worth it. Kobe could play a bit more time at the 3 this year and he and JR in an open floor with Lamar or Marcus Williams leading the break and Kwame as the trailer. Not a bad idea

I've been a laker fan longer than many of you have been alive, and it seems like every year out of all of those years, I hear a PJ Brown to the Lakers trade scenario. It was cool 10 years ago, to put things into perspective....

I have been a Laker fan all of my life and saw Magic at the GWF in 1988. Is it okay with you now if I post a trade scenario that I would like to see?

Some people supported your idea. Some supported it with changes. The rest pointed out that Brown is as old as the pyramids. Noone insulted you, compared to the way some newbs get roasted you did OK.

I was thinking the same. He's a solid player, but let's stop trying to get the Vlade's and McKie's of the world when there is no tread left on the tires.

He can be a decent role player for a couple more years, but I think we need more than that.

Not the worst trade I have ever heard. Take out the picks though becuase no way the NO go for that. However if you put

Mihm, McKie, Cook for Brown, A. Williams, and J.R Smith that be a pretty solid deal.

I like the deal except I'd take the best big man available (probably Cedric Simmons, although O' Bryant wouldn't be the worst consolation prizes). That way they can compete NOW with PJ Brown while the pick develops behind him. Imagine a big-man brigade 2 or 3 years down the line with Kwame, Bynum, Turiaf, and Cedric.

Then sign Banks with the MLE.
