Hell to the no. Dude's about to receive social securities payments soon. Unless he's gonna serve as a mirror boy for the rest of the players with that shiny as5 bald head of his.

I think most people here don't understand what cutting a player means...it means he is GONE.

Its salary relief for us, thats it.

lets imagine if we do get him.

Kobe
Ron
bowen
Pau
bynum

i think we'd hold teams to 70 pts. also defense isnt always about 1 vs 1 defense. The team defense would be AMAZING!

Bowen might be headed to Boston. Some sources say Boston is also working on a S&T to swap Big Baby for Yi. If this is all true, Boston is loading up with some major pieces.

And not to mention the CelticsBlog.com report that Bruce Bowen to the Celtics is in the works!

Alex from NES 24/7 called into the show for a 30-minute conversation on sign and trade rumors. For fans who dislike rumor talk, the middle of the show is not for you, but for the rest of us who enjoy speculation it was a hit. Alex confirmed that he had been hearing the same rumor as Justin from a different source; that Glen Davis is headed to New Jersey in a sign and trade. While Justin was reluctant to post any such rumor in print without specific details, Alex reported that Yi Jianlian was the target and it is likely that no further details have been sorted out yet.

bowen may be done, but he can still be a dirty defensive player that does the necessary things in the post season to secure a few percentage points in the win column. for salary relief reasons, i'm down too.

I would love to sign Bowen only if he still has gas in the tank, plus it would be great to get back at the Spurs for signing Robert Horry. :mad1: Imagine Bruce Bowen making the winning shot to complete a 4 game sweep of the Spurs in the Western Conferance Finals next year :man1: That would make me happy as heck until we win the championship. :jam2:
