odom will play butler's position.

cook is useless anyway.

we got a good pick like jack/felton or even paul in the draft to replace useless chucky.

Okki, let me nip this in the bud. MasterRaider thinks it's a huge mistake to take on Boozer's salary because he doesn't think that his offensive game is enough to overshadow his defense. MR thinks that Boozer's D is terrible. I urge you to just let this topic die again. I agree with you, btw. I'd love to have Boozer.

THIS TRADE IS DEAD ACCORDING TO MANY.

There won't be any trades with Utah (for Boozer or a draft pick). Apparently, Boozer wants to be traded to the Lakers, but neither team is interested in a trade. Brock also hasn't heard of any serious trade discussions with Toronto.

I believe emplay has also stated that the deal is dead.

I hope there's someone better, too. To be honest, I don't think Boozer fits well with PJ so I'm completely okay with this move.

Just today, I saw this...

The Jazz are supposedly shopping power forward Carlos Boozer, who missed the final 31 games because of a strained right foot. Utah is in serious need of a point guard and they have some interest in moving up from their No. 6 spot in the draft. There was talk of Boozer headed to either Portland or New York.

Boozer, Odom, Kobe, Mihm and PG would be good starting 5.

I agree. But I can see other guys being a better fit now that Phil is coach. Plus, if the Jazz want to move up, we have nothing to offer them.
