Slim to none, why would he leave. With the East and that team, he has a shot of making the Finals for like 3-4 more years.

He would leave for the right price he makes 6 million right now could get about nine or ten somewhere else. He really does not make much and I don't think the Pistons will give him much of a payday. I would love the Lakers to get him in P&G, but he would have to play for the minimum.

Man I wouldn't go anywhere if I was him. He's on a great team, the only team he would do better in is ....um....nowhere lol. He's fine where he is.

He's looking to get PAID.

We as Laker fans should hope that he goes to Milwaukee, then maybe they wouldn't want to match an offer for Bell.

Ben Wallace is in Chicago for a reason. They WANT to resign Billups, and are going to do everything possible to. I don't see him leaving Detroit - let alone coming to play for the Lakers. The only way he comes here is via sign & trade. Not impossible, but unlikley.

If we pulled of the Jermain Oneal trade, I think he would be VERY interested in the Lakers. Even though its the midlevel. He would make lots of money just being in LA via Events, indorsements ect. If I was Billups, and had Kobe and J.O. call me and say lets make history, I would do it.

Maybe one year MLE, and resigning guarantee of $50 million / 5 years deal, anything close to max.

The only way you can do it is if he's guaranteed to go elsewhere and the Pistons look at the situation and think alright we'll trade him for Lamar.

The Lakers decline and figure out a Kwame+Farmar+ a 1st and probably take on a bad contract.

So ya it's ugly...

If Billups decides to leave Detroit, he most likely will head to Orlando or Charlotte.

no. He would have to be 3 years with the Lakers to use the bird exception.

LA Lakers are always an attractive team. Especially with Kobe. If we can land a KG or Jermaine O'Neal, he may want to come and sign here.
Kobe Bryant-3 NBA World Championships, 5 Western Conference Championships, 5 Pacific Division Championships, 11 playoff appearences, 2 scoring titles,11 time All-Star, 2 time All-Star MVP, 1 time NBA Regular season MVP, 3 career 60+ point games, 1 career 70+ point game, 1 career 80+ point game, first guard in league history to be drafted out of high school, NBA Record 12 three-pointers in a single game

I would love for him to come to LA, but it's not gonna happen. He will probabaly resign with Detroit.

We need frontcourt help more than backcourt. If we just put talent around Farmar, then we should be OK.

Farmar has a long way to go to be considered a frontline starter against Parker and Nash. I would prefer to see him as the 20mpg backup to be honest.
