1st & 2nd
#2 pick (LaMarcus Aldrige)
Would the Bulls do this? Would the Lakers do this? Is this even possible? What do you guys think?
THe Bulls would do that in a heartbeat. You basically gave up some okay players and a high pick for a borderline all-star, a starting center and two picks.
I would not do that trade. The Lakers need Lamar Odom to be productive, like he was after the trade deadline expired. Also, Lamar provides another rebounder - it basically only him and Brown, and occassionally Kobe hitting the boards.
What the Lakers need is a consistent 3rd scoring option.
Obviously, not Smush - he would not show up for every game.
Luuuke, for his excellent passing, and playmaking, is not a scorer.
Before he was hurt, Mihm was a relaible 3rd option.
Unkown as to whether Kwame Brown can do it consitently. In case anyone forgot, in the Laker's last game, Phil Jackson removed him with only 5 mins elapsed in the 2nd half, and replaced him with Turiaf.
While I do not want to stunt ABombs development, I am not sure I want to put all of my eggs in the Brown basket just yet.
