Chris Mihm & Aaron Mckie 4 D-Fish?

Chris Mihm & Aaron Mckie 4 D-Fish?

Postby vaheblings on Sat Jul 01, 2006 9:47 pm

Would you guys want this to happen? Were getting back D-Fish a proven and loved player here in LA and were giving up Mihm & Mckie? I say the Warriors will think about pulling this trade cuz Fish still has 3 years left on his contract and the Warrior will be getting expiring contracts so they have more flexibilty. What u think? The contracts match up and the trade works but would the Lakers/Warriors even consider?

I love Fish, but no way. We could get much better with Mihm. He is a top 10 center. We do need to get rid of at least on of our current PG's too.

No, No and ummmm No
It's official, Blake Griffin has convinced me to jump on the Clippers bandwagon. I am now slightly more willing to go to a Clippers game than a Sparks game.

Chris Mihm is one of the top 15 centers in teh league. Centers traditionally are more valued than point guards. D-Fish isn't even one of teh top 30 point guards in the league. I like Fish but that's giving up too much.

Fisher is not the player he was when here before. He's a few years older, a bit slower, and his lack of D cannot be masked any longer. There's no one named Shaq to anchor the paint. We really cannot afford to have Fisher on this team.

Fish is a nice guy, we love him and all but - no way. He's overpaid.

I don't know who you are watching. Mihm is a good offensive center and just had a career year. Before he went down, he was our third most dependable scorer. He would easily be a 15 point and 8 rebound guy if he wasn't picking up fouls trying to guard all the players that blow by Smush. He has tons of low post moves AND he can hit a jump shot, something Kwame can't. So his name isn't Shaq or Amare, the guy can play and he shouldn't be traded.

I'd take Fish back in a heartbeat.

He knows our system better than any other PG in the league.

He was always a hard-nosed player, and can provide us the veteran leadership we need at the point.

Even more importantly, he can make the big shot.

...

We'd never get D-Fish for Mihm though.

Is there a way to include b B. Grant's $15 Million contract?

If GS gets a new coach, trading DFish is a possibility to free up the cap space.

If so, I would do the trade, although I would only add Mihm as a last resort.
