Gasol + Ammo + two 1st 4 Labron James

The Cavs are going to lose LB for nothing after next season, at least with this trade they get some value in return in a versatile big man the can play both the PF/C. Since Labron wants to be in a big market, it would be hard for him to leave Los Angeles after winning a championship with Kobe. Beside why would he leave L.A. for the crappy Knicks. So I think it would be worth a shot at trying to get possible LB.

Lakers trade:
Gasol
Morrison
2011 & 2013 & (2015?) 1st picks + cash $145,116

Cavs trade:
Labron James
Delonte West
JJ Hickson

Note: Cavs will still lose to the Celtics
Championship will be the Lakers and Celtics, Lakers in 5 in Boston!!!!

If you have a better trade idea for Labron please post and make sure the salaries match up.

Okay. The Cavs just gave Andy a 6 year deal (last year team option), so why would they want Pau? Plus the Cavs have a better shot at a ring with LeBron than Pau.

That is a good arguement TT24, but the Cavs shoould be thinking about their future, I would agree with you, but there is no way they make it past the Celtics or Magic with Lebron and if they did they would get crushed by the Lakers. I forgot about Varejo, he would be their back up PF, witch would be good for him because he is not starting material. And you are right about the Cavs having a better chance at winnig the championship with LB, but they won't, and once Lebron leaves they will be lucky if they make the playoffs, plus they will lose alot of ticket sales. At least with Gasol they will make the playoffs and keep some poeple in their seats. Perhaps we can do a sign and trade next summer for LB involving Bynum (if he has a great year). Because the knicks will have a crappy team and why would lebron want to be starting all over. :bang:

^ If LeBron is going to NY, I would think it would be to play for the Nets. If I'm not mistaken, they will have the most cap space AND can sign two big name players. People keep talking about him wanting to go the NY for more marketing, but how much bigger can he get? And with the Nets, you have Harris, Lopez , Lee, and a decent player in Dooling. Plus, your "big brother" Jay-Z is a Co-Owner. If he leaves Cleveland, he should be heading to NJ instead of NY.

Another great point Mr.TT24, and that makes alot of sense since he is good friends with Jay-Z and ownes parts of the Nets. The Nets would be like 35+ mil under the cap, they not only could sign LB but maybe a player like Bosh or Wade. If the nets played their cards right the could possibly sign three big time payers in Lebron James, Chris Bosh, and Manu Ginobili.

With a few good role players and a good coach like, um lets say a.... Greg Popavich would leave the Spurs to coach this team, would be an aotomatic shoe in for the finals. Which they would lose in 6 againts the Lakers. They would meet the Lakers again in 2011-2012 season win the champoinship in 5(maybe?) depends who we sign in 2011.

Female... And I doubt Pop leaves when they have a great team now, as long as they stay healthy. Manu... If SA gets real deep in the playoffs, or God forbid, win the championship, I think he'll be back as well.

If all of those contracts came off the books after this year, and they were guaranteed LeBron would leave...and Sasha started shooting like 2007-2008. If Morrison, regained his form as a rookie. If Luke Walton started to regain his playoff form where he was averaging 11/5/5, and the Lakers would give 2 first round picks away....then MAYBE...just MAYBE we could have that argument. However, its not going to happen....unfortunately

I wouldn't be surprised 2 see Lebron in LA after 2010. Except as a Clipper to join the ranks of Baron Davis, Eric Gordon, Al Thornton, Marcus Camby, Blake Griffin, and another possibly high draft pick as I don't see the Clippers doing very well this season. They will have cap space, a large market for LBJ, and happen to share the building with Kobe. How enticing would that sound to Lebron, to have the chance to steal Kobe's thunder from right next door.

I'm a huge Lakers fan but that team is pretty scary. Oh and this thread's trade proposal is ridiculous. CLE didn't want to include Hickson in the trades for Shaq. Why would they include both Hickson and LBJ in the same trade for anything involving Adam freakin Morrison.

Besides this entire thread is a joke IMHO, overpaying Varejao doesn't mean they would not like better Gasol, i mean, it's like comparing Bryant with Dhantay Jones.
