Good trade for the Lakers

Good trade for the Lakers

Lakers Trade:

New Orleans Trade:

Lakers get the shooter that they need and another Big who looks to board and scores the garbage points without needing anything run for him. Plus they get out of Radman's and Cook's contract.

NO does this to shake up their roster, and pick up a guy who can help Chris paul run the team. Plus they have two other SF in Mason and Butler who can fill in for Peja's absence.

PG: Free Agent(Mo Williams)/Farmar
SG: Kobe/Evans
SF: Peja/Luke
PF: Chandler/Turiaf
C: Bynum/Kwame

no.....chandler is definitely not a PF hes only a C plus peja is only a scorer, no defense. I like chandler but him and bynum down there will make it crowded. Although peja can be a very good second option, lakers can do better if they're going to trade lamar.

i think this would be a bad trade because peja is getting older and every year hes having injury problems

Salaries don't work, trade fails. Why would NO do this anyway, they take our trash for their center and their $60 million dollar shooter. Horrible trade for both teams. Peja and Chandler each have 5 years left on their contracts, we'd be stuck with them for forever and they wouldn't improve us that much, when was the last time Peja played anyway. Bottom line, wouldn't and couldn't happen.

Awful trade idea. Did Peja even play last year?? We give up our second scoring option for a always injured jump shooter with no game besides his jumper? (I.e. zero defense or driving ability).

I don't know... Tyson Chandler is really stepping his game up. The amount of rebounds this guy gets, and blocked shots would totally be a humongous improvement to this Lakers team. I don't feel like clicking the link, to see what the proposed trade is, but let's stop acting like having Tyson Chandler and Peja Stojakovic on our team is a bad idea.

Tyson Chandler? Lamar Odom? That's great defense, dominating board work, and we have Kobe for offense still. Tyson Chandler would be a big improvement over Kwame "5 rebound" Brown.

I like what Chandler's done this year as well, but I also think that Peja's a might too risky for the Lakers to pick up right now. I think the Hornets would be crazy to trade trade Chandler now after his recent break out season.

Terrible trade.
This is a perfect example of people getting caught up in big names.

Kobe would be the only guy on the team that could really create his own shot.

I don't know ... this could go either way.

But if Peja's off years are over and Chandler continues his improvement through the next few years, this could be a better trade for the Lakers.

New PG (MLE)

This team could be really good.
