jOE jOHNSON IS A FREE AGENT. HE CAN PLAY THE 1, D'S UP ones and can create his own shot. That would be agreat back court. He will demand a lot of $$, but what about sign and trade using caron,slava and #2

either odom or butler is going to be shipped out this offseason it would appear, divac is expiring for orlando, and chucky could get sent back to his first team...francis has been unhappy and cato could be a legit 4 for us...even tho francis may hog the ball a little much (understatement) with phil here he could learn some dicipline and dish it even more (already avgs 7 apg)

why orlando does it:
howard proved he has toughness, can play C in the east, and with odom and hill in the frontcourt along with him orlando becomes pretty damn good...they can keep going small ball with chucky and jameer which could be successful considering chucky is really a sg

Odom, Luke Walton(s & t), Brian Cook and Vlade Divac for Tyson Chandler (s&t) and Antonio Davis and a future second round pick.

Odom goes to a team where he can be the number 1 option. Tyson Chandler gets to go to Los Angeles.

Please be kind. This post is, of course, an amalgamate of the more intriguing (and realistic) ideas from Draft, Trade, and Discussion boards. This is a team that could match up against anyone at the 1-2-3 spots and if Splitter is half the player he is supposed to be, with the depth we have at PF and C, we should be okay. Comparing it with this year's squad, our starters are better at PG, SF, and C spot. SG is the same guy. PF is someone who can develop. And if he doesn't work out, we have Bender and Grant to play the minutes. Plus, we can always shuffle Cs down to the PF spot. There's some decent depth, especially at big man.
