How about Mihm for Nocioni of the Bulls?

How about Mihm for Nocioni of the Bulls?

Postby B-Scott on Wed Jan 25, 2006 3:43 pm

Someone brought this up on another board. Nocioni is a tenacious defender. Good spot up shooter. Attacks the basket. Defended kobe pretty well when we played the bulls. Forced kobe to take jumpers. Kobe made them ,but he made it tough.

C Kwame
PF Lamar
SF Nocioni
G Kobe
G Smush

Nocioni averages 12 points a game. 50 percent 3 point shooter, and thats playing alongside NO SUPERSTARS. If he played with Lamar and Kobe who draw double teams,he can average 16 points a game. Great spot up shooter. Solid defender. Works his butt off. Perfect Tri fit

dug dug

obviously you dont watch basketball.

Nocioni averages 12 points. 50 percent 3 point shooter. NO SUPERSTARS

Playing with Lamar and Kobe he would be wide open, and average 16 points a game.

You need to order LEAGUE PASS. This guy is a warrior.

Bulls need a C

Will not happen plain and simple. Bulls will not give him up for Mihm. Plus we already have enough forwards and the only person I'd accept for that position right now is Artest. Besides from the games I've been able to watch Mihm is developing pretty nicely. He just needs to stay away from fouls.

We can't. Lets trade all out bigs for small forwards. That solves all our problems.

Why would we trade a big man (one of our only) for a good defensive small foward.

No trading big for small unless you are getting all-star talent!!!

B Scott the fact you are telling others that they dont watch basketball is highly amusing considering you want to trade one of our only 3 big men (2 that can play this year) for a run of the mill small forward who would contribute close to nothing. Great idea

Why would you trade the only NBA-tested center on the team, for a guy like Nocioni who plays a position (SF) at which he would be the third guy off the bench?

Why would you want to deplete your team size and shot-blocking for a guy that might not even start and is actually a worse defender than someone like D. George?

Honestly, your proposed trade just makes no sense.

Is there a way to ban someone for coming up with an incredibly ridiculous amount of worthless ideas and points? If so, B-SCOTT would take the cake and would have been kicked off months ago. Ha-ha, telling other people they need to watch basketball - that's hilarious. Thanks for the laugh, bud.

Classic.
How do I know Jesus loves me so much he doesn't want me working the whole weekend?
Exodus 31:15 Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death.
Don't believe those lies, son! The only lies worth believing are the ones in the Bible! Can I get an amen?

I like Nocioni and think he will be much better if he played in the tri but I tend to agree with the others as far as trading a big for him. If we can bring in another big in another trade. I'd like to have him and if we could send Luke I'd personally make the numbers work even if I had to get a part time job.

actually its you that should get banned for your childish insults. I got this from the Realgm Laker board. It wasnt my idea. Laker fans there liked the idea,so i thought i would post that members idea here, and see what fans thought.

Lakers need a guy who can stretch the defense. Nocioni shoots 50 percent from 3 point range, averages 13 points per game. If he played at SF alongside Lamar and Kobe,he would average 16 points spotting up for 3 pointers.

Kwame would start at C...Lamar Nocioni Kobe smush.

He wouldnt be a 3rd guy off the bench. He would start at SF. Did you forget he averages 13 points. Playing with Lamar and kobe,he would be wide open. He is a 6-7 steve kerr, that plays defense.

1st of most people of the RealGM boards don't know what their talking about and remember just because it flies well with a group of fans over there doesn't mean it will fly well here. So you have to expect different opinions.

So I guess with us becoming more of an offensive team, we will probably give up just as many points as we make.

What about the ridiculous trades fans make about Chris bosh. Willing to offer Bynum and Lamar for bosh. Thats stupid.

Bosh aint that great. No defense. Shoots jumpers. Maybe as a free agent. Not for lamar and bynum. If you can add Bosh to the core of Lamar and bynum. Cool. Lamar/bynum is something you trade for KG.Not bosh. Fans call my trades ridiculous. Thats ridiculous

As a laker fan i dont even fear Bosh. I feared Mike james more then Bosh. Bynum and Lamar for bosh. LOL

By the way Nocioni was invited to participate in the ALL STAR 3 point shootout, and turned it down. www.realgm.com

1. This is in the wrong forum(Laker trade rumors - Groundless trade ideas)

2. Trading a Center for a SF/"pf" player is bad when you are short on C's.

3. George for Nocioni, or Cook for Nocioni is more fitting.

4. Please pass the pipe.

But he can atleast play the same defense as smushy(less IMO, less stls too) but he can outscore smushy and sasha combined on any given night :man12:
