how about trying to sigh up T-mac after 2010?

Postby T-mac on Thu Apr 30, 2009 10:31 pm

At that time, Tracy will be free agent. And its difficult for him to have another nice contract.Maybe Rockets even can't trade him because there is not another foolish team. 1M per year may be OK

Haha
“This contract with Joel Anthony is a testament to the man who is second to none; who has worked hard and deserved this,” said Heat President Pat Riley. “We felt that what he has done over the last couple of years in developing his game, his body and his knowledge warrants this reward. If other NBA non-drafted free agents want a prototype to follow, Joel Anthony is that man."

T-mac can do as All-star SF does. He is still as good as PP or Vince Carter. He has height and also skill of defense as long as he has willing...

Just look at how he was perfect in game 1 and 2 of 04~05 playoffs against Mavericks.

Just look at KG. before transfering to Celtics, he also didn't have great performonce in playoffs.

Without Cassell and Sprewell in 03~04, he also hadn't go into round 2 for 6 times.

Before 07~08, KG performed like T-mac, and TD like Kobe.

Guys relax, its a Tracy McGrady/Rockets fan who wants to become a Laker/T MAc fan in the future after hearing Tracy McGrady say the Lakers were going to win it all.

They are going to start pouring in the hundreds.

I never really thought that TMac's comment would have this type of effect on ClubLakers.com
Welcome to LAKER NATION!!!!

I think it would be awesome to have TMac backup Kobe or backup Trevor Ariza. A veteran TMac off the bench would be dynamite

Bynum, Gasol, Odom, TMac, Kobe

Heck, maybe even put him in the Ron Harper role, bringing the ball up. Imagine the length of the team with T-mac, Kobe, Ariza, Pau and Bynum as the starting 5. Granted T-macs knees are probably worse than Harps were, but, if he's willing to come cheap and be a role player taking 25 minutes a game or so, I'm OK with him coming to LA.

I can only dream of this happening. By 2010 he should be fully healed from Microfracture and be on his way to the clutch TMAC that we know. He won't be the same because of his age and inactivity, but for 15 minutes a night he could be the best backup ever and the glue that leads to multiple championships.

And if Kobe ever is injured for awhile, who better to take his place?

Lemme see, Sasha or TMAC???? No question in my mind.

He's done now. What's he going to have in the tank in a year?

Vet min and vet min only.

Even then, this idea means you don't want Ariza back, keep that in mind.

Exactly. If his body is decrepit now, how's it going to look in 2010?

And, damn you hit the threads here like a freight train JSM.
