The Bobcats want to dump Boris Diaw more than Jackson or Wallace, and seem to want a real player back for either Jackson or Wallace in a deal.

The short cut might be to take Wallace or Jackson with Diaw, which Charlotte seems open to. Landing one on their own looks to be a tough sell.

Could you trade like Blake or Brown with Walton, Caracter, picks, and cash for Diaw and either Wallace or Jackson?

None of that works. Diaw makes 9m. Jax makes 8.5 and Wallace makes 10.5.

I think the Wallace Portland rumor may happen. Wallace (10.5) for Camby + Rudy (13 total). It gets Portland just about out of the Luxury Tax with the savings, and they get the best player.

Cats, meanwhile, get 2 starters at positions of weakness for their playoff push.
