Actually being from Michigan..I definitely would like Jalen here at the point. Phil Jackson historically has liked the bigger point guards. Anything would be an upgrade to what we have now.

Then that would make a few years in a row of us signing an over the hill, finished PG that won't even play. Aaron McKie, Jim Jackson, Smush Parker (ok he played but he sucked). Plus did we not learn from Brian Grant and Vlade Divac? No way the Lakers sign him, no way, who could he even D up at PG?

Rose at PG means another season close to lottery...

I actually liked the idea of having Jalen as the tri PG. I thought the main reason Phoenix took him is to keep him away from the Lakers. Look at him riding the pine in that Phoenix roster. It's just like that move where they got Banks for the MLE. For what??? Haven't seen him play since forever. I think if we say were targeting Magic Johnson as our PG, they'd come up with ways to sign him and keep him away from us.

Yeah, I'm sure the Hawks would give up Josh Smith and the third pick for Bynum. You're clearly delusional if you think the Hawks would give up that much for Bynum...
