Javale McGee

The Wizards are testing the waters for Javale McGee and Andray Blatche. I would like to see the Lakers get Javale McGee because I think we need his energy. The same goes for a player like Tyrus Thomas. We could use his energy also. Because we are getting older and less athletic, we need athletic players whose athleticism covers mistakes. I think that is partially at the genesis of our problems now. Our athleticism and talent used to cover mistakes.

What do we have to trade for them? Draft picks, salary that they might like to dump, and that is about it. Shannon Brown is the only chip I could see us using and maybe Ebanks. THe other option would be to get a third team involved.

I would not propose this trade if the Lakers werent about championships. To get over the hump later on, we are going to need some more energetic players.

Why do we need ANOTHER big guy? We have Drew, Gasol, Odom then Caracter, Theo, and Smith on the bench.

Unless Wizards take Walton for him, no way I want McGee on the Lakers.

You need to put "another big guy" into context. We have 3 who work well and three who dont work. I am not just talking about big guys. I am talking pieces that would help this team.

No No No ! We don't need another offensive liability like Artest !
If anything the Lakers should be issuing the lack of consistent 3-pt shooters in the 1 & 3. Our bigs are good enough to get it done IMO.
