A Lakers and Pistons trade???

Proposed Trade:
Lakers
Outgoing:
K. Brown
A. Bynum

Incoming:
Ben Wallace
C. Delfino

Could work well for both teams.
LA gets an interior force with Wallace as well as Delfino, A 6'6 guard that would fit into triangle system.

Detroit gets younger with K. Brown and A. Bynum, with these to players team up with R. Wallace, McDyess, and Dale Davis...There interior players are still good enough to compete for the title while getting younger.

We would be giving up too much future potential for a guy who would command aleast 10 mil a year and has limited offensive skills. Think of Shaq, but smaller and limited offensive skills.

Would they be willing to take on another project (Bynum). after their failed experiment with Milicic, though this time around it might be differn't

Wallace is a proven winner, but we'll get better help looking elsewhere, trading for Wallace would also mess up our 08 plan. I think I would sign Bosh in 08 rather than trading for Big Ben now.

I like Delfino, but we would be much better off getting banks with the MLE, without having to give up anyone[/b]

Wallace would have to re-sign for less than he can probably make. I'm really doubting that Detroit makes that trade. We still need a PF or SF. Useless.

Wade would be so good in the triangle it's not even funny. There isn't a need for a traditional PG in the system and I'm confident Bryant and Wade would be pretty good as our back-court.
