Or this deal...where Portland gets a fricken make-over and the Lakers get some nice people and then everyone else might be happy and relieved of toxic contracts and bad players and crap...

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=1994~2768~2435~550~2015~682~1017~687~2408~2417~2795~144~2750~1708~2751~246~1013~2787~1703~273~306~2522~2863~632~2796~2798~981~267~372~539~617~2421~2793~2027&teams=13~9~26~13~26~13~9~26~9~13~13~26~26~22~22~13~22~13~13~22~22~22~22~22~22~22~26~9~26~26~22~9~22~22

This one would require years of picks and cash from like every team...but more or less from us and Portland probably....

It would take care of our holes and problems...it would hurt the '08 just a bit...but then we can go and work...and we still have some people to play like center and everything and still be young and all. If we did a deal like this...we might have to add like a butt load of picks and money...but heck...I doubt anyone would mind that part of it...

Who's up for a deal like this???
Please.....just stop..

im for it, blake and miles would definetly be a great addition, mihm not needed here anymore, and maybe we'll get a bonus of seeing some more of those great Alley oops as in theyre old LA days as well :jam2:

as mentioned before, once a team is done with their season (if they didnt make the playoffs when the season ends, or when they are eliminated) they can trade with another team which is finished with their season as well. its just not typical for such a thing to happen until draft workouts pan out in addition to clarity concerning free agents.

either way this would be a great trade, miles was averaging 18 ppg this season if i remember correctly. him, lamar and kobe would be freaking amazing.

kwame ,odom, and miles would be the most underacheiving front line in league history.........they are those guys that are always referred to as being "full of potential"

if it is true (which i 99% doubt it is)

thats not a bad deal, we get two starters, still have the mle, lle and another first

Kwame
Odom
Miles
Kobe
Blake

but again, highly doubt it

Miles, BLake, 30th for Mckie, Cook, Mihm via ESPN radio

So basically....Cook and Mihm for Blake and Miles...

thats really tempting...as im a Steve Blake fan....

But mihm and cook are too valuable for us to be giving to the blazers for miles ( a player that is leaving no matter what) and blake.

Give us Dixon and its aidios... :man9:

We can afford to trade Mihm for a guard. We have Kwame, Bynum, Turiaf, Odom, and Luke who can man the fort at the 4/5.

He did some late in the season for us and did fine. Maybe not as his primary position, but to give Kwame or Lamar a breather.

It's false, the thread is locked over there, but I wouldn't mind the trade if it happened.

Blake is a good 2-way PG, good shooter who can create for himself, and for only 1 million.

Miles can rebound and play both ways. Started the season averaging 18-20 before being limited to a bench role. Under Phil he could work wonders, or ruin everything.

Don't really like getting Miles because he can be a locker room cancer but at least he's got some game and can contribute...and I'm sure alot of people would be happy with Blake. I personally love the kid's game...and a extra draft pick is nice too

That'd be a great trade for us.

We gain two better defenders, a starting PG, and possibly one of the better 6th men in the league if used right. All that, and still having the MLE? That's solid.
