Odom for Gasol?

Odom for Gasol, i really think both teams benefit odom can help the young grizzlies run which is what jerry west said he would like, and we get an offensive post player who is consistent passes the ball well and gets rebounds. If they get Oden they probably will let Gasol go

If I were the Lakers Id do it in a second, but the Grizz are trying to cut salary and bring in youth so I dont know why they would do it.

Partially agree. If not for the price tag, the Grizz probably would have pulled the trigger on this deal already. I don't see this happening.

More than that, I still want to see Gasol play with some consistency year-to-year - one year being the go-to guy in Memphis and a history of success - in Europe - does not make a star player.

YES PLEASE!!!!!!! we need to do whatever we can to trade odom. he has all the talent in the world and he doesnt kno how to use it. doesnt fit in the triangle, injury prone. now all we need is a PG and another perimeter defender..Bryant/Bynum/Gasol. smush and luke arent starters and laker fans should kno that. sign charlie bell in tha offseason and move up in tha drft so we can get corey brewer.

West really wants rid of Stromile Swift so why not this deal, Odom and Radman for Gasol and Swift. Then send Brian Cook to Phoenix for Marcus Banks and then try to sign DeShawn Stevenson with MLE. Then resign Luke if possible.
PG-- Banks, Farmar
2G-- Kobe, Mo
SF-- Luke, Stevenson
PF-- Gasol, Swift, Turiaf
C-- Brown, Bynum
Then draft well, better than this team.

The Grizz want to sell the team and cut as much salary cap as possible. When Gasol was heavily rumored to the C's, the Grizz wanted all youth and expiring contracts. They wont take on anymore big contracts.

you might want to review this idea, Gasol is the franchise player in memphis right now, he is the no.1 go to guy not no.2 not no.3, we still aren't sure if odom is the no.2. Odom does not give anything consistently except rebounds, while Gasol can give you 40pts when neccessary and go back to 20-25 a night. as for the passing we already have Luke and Kobe,
having someone in the post to pass to that you can trust to make the shot will blow up their assist no.'s.

How blind do you have to be to think a an Odom for someone who was actually a franchise player is a bad deal (steve francis not included)

Gasol can play PF,
beisdes if we trade LO and and a fringe player for Gasol, we can then thrade Gasol and a fringe player for Garnett, if Gasol doesn't work out, instead of sending half our quality to minessota for garnett and a dleague player.

They're talking about Gasol not KG. Everyone in the world knows that KG is 10x better than Odom.
