Pau Gasol to Chicago Bulls?

i don't think this trade helps us.

gasol is an elite PF, boozer is above average but nowhere near what pau provides.

we probably need another shooter, but overall, i'll pass on this trade. (unless we can move the walton contract)

I think so.

In addition to what Pig said, we need a PG and while I like Korver, Boozer I would not want on the team. He disappears in the playoffs. He's fools gold. He puts up the stats but really doesn't impact the game if you know what I mean.

Hell no. Boozer is one of the most overrated players in the game. Guy has made the all-star team and he's not even as good as Odom. I remember in those playoff series with Utah how he got worked time again by both Odom and Gasol. And Korver? I've seen enough of these types of players who can shoot and do nothing else to say no thanks. And he's not even that great of a shooter.

I think other teams saw us give away Lamar for nothing...so they think whatever stupidity infected the front office there might also carry over to Pau as well, since we can't seem to wait to get rid of him too.

That is a terrible trade IMO. Lakers desparately need a starting PG to run MB's offense and maybe a solid slashing backup SG to give Kobe some breathing time.

Have Chicago get IND involved with LAL getting Collison, and it makes it better. Turn Pau into Boozer, Collison and maybe Gibson... that works!

Getting Korver after we signed Kapono is just nonsense. It would only be interesting if we were able to get Deng as it would greatly improve our SF position (and maybe we can put Barnes in the deal), now they got Rip Hamilton they don't depend that much on Deng, but I highly doubt they would be interested, Deng is so much younger and a player for the future.

Other combinations with Orlando to get Howard in the deal can be interesting to explore, I think Chicago is one of the very few teams, if not the only one, that would be interested enough in Gasol (much better than Boozer) and could afford to trade for his contract without losing too many big pieces.

It would be an okay trade if we somehow manage to get a 3rd party and get a PG, i still dont know why they are trying to trade Pau maybe the new coach doesnt like him, but i mean Boozer isnt really an upgrade...but oh well it makes a lot more sense than the Odom deal

I don't like that trade at all. And Boozer and injuries... always risky. We need a PG.

I would prefer Tony Parker + Tiago Splitter.

And even, I prefer a madness with Rodney Stuckey + Austin Daye + Greg Monroe (plus other movements to match salaries). I know that this trade would be a madness, but even I prefer it over the Bulls one.

We can go for Gilbert Arenas, Ray Felton or OJ Mayo without losing Gasol; or we can go for a top PG (Deron Williams or Russell Westbrook) including Gasol.
