I'd love to have him on the lakers and he is definitely an upgrade over ariza but Ariza would be better dollar-for-dollar. Tay makes about $10-11 mill/year, while we could keep ariza for about half the price (maybe even less in these tough economic times?) for doing almost the same thing tay does. Regardless though, I don't see detroit giving give him up.
Prince is better than Ariza, but he's 6 years older than Trevor. This is as good as it gets for TP. Ariza on the other hand is 23 and is continuing to improve. On top of that, as Biz said, Ariza will be the cheaper of the two. I'll stick with Ariza.
