Ramon Sessions

In the wake of the mass hysteria regarding Ramon Sessions, can the Lakers
make an offer to the Bucks for Sessions. Maybe something like Luke or Morrison
for a signed and traded Sessions? It's not like he's going to return to Milwaukee....

There is no way the Bucks would want to pay luxury tax to acquire Luke Walton. They're holding up on Sessions signing because of mere million of luxury tax.

They won't even match a MLE offer on Sessions because they're not willing to add salary.. No way they take on a lesser player for the same $$$

I know we won't get him...but it would be nice. The problem is, if Mitch pulled
that off, there's no telling what other things that Laker fans would expect from him.
Not that he isn't already a great GM, but he'd be elevated to walking-on-water status.
The fans would be expecting him to get LeBron and Wade in 2010, while retaining
Kobe, Pau, & Artest. Plus, we saw what happens when a Lakers team has too many
stars(see 2004 team).

I agree with this. I like Sessions and I think he is a very good player, however, he does not have a great long range shot and that is what we need from our PG.

Clippers are going after Sessions according to some reports. Looks like they are trying to build a real competitor finally. It's good to have a little competition in LA, otherwise it can get boring.

The best way to know if your trade makes sense......being a Bucks fans and asking yourself if Walton + Morrison is enough for Sessions. Cmon guys

I'm sorry, but the majority of people here have no idea about trades making sense. People think Mitch is a miracle worker because he was handed Gasol. Trades like that come around every once every 20 years (if that).

Its possible if the Lakers would take on Charlie Bell k..A deal like

Lakers-Sessions(4m)/C.Bell
Bucks-Wilkins/C.Atkins/2012 LA 1st/2010 Memp 2nd
TWolves Get-Farmar/Ammo(Elson)

Bucks seem content with losing Sessions for nothing..Here they save close to 10mill(stay out of lux tax this year also)..You can cut Atkins for 760k plus they get two picks...TWolves only have one PG on roster in Flynn and they need some size upfront so Elson and Farmar would help...And the Lakers get a young stud PG out for nothing
