I don´t think so. I think Smush would start but sometimes during the season Roy might take Smush´s job. He is very intelligent with great basketball IQ and loves to post up players and has the size at 6-5 and I think Phill will fall in love with him.

i say lakers try maybe to get into the midround, take like mardy collins or something, then trade up in 2nd round too and get steve novak (DANG THIS GUY CAN SHOOT) while they're at it

yes we need the fourth pick from Portland to get him. Some say Portland wants to trade it along with Miles, some say they will trade up. SO I dunno how realistic it is and Roy once said he can imagine himself in a Laker jersey and said Phil told him they might trade up and pick him.

I think Roy may be a smokescreen...and this recent talks of the Bulls drafting Aldridge with the #2 as well. If the Lakers/Bull trade goes down and it looks like this:

Lakers Trade:

Odom
Mihm
(Maybe the #26 pick)

Bulls Trade:

Chandler
Gordon
and the #2

The Lakers would have a great defensive tandem in Kwame and Chandler with Chandler being the shotblocker that this team needs. However, team would be severely lacking in scoring and this is wear Morrison would be a great addition to this team.

He's an extremely intelligent player. I was reading his bio/scouting report (don't remember which website) but one of his pros was that he made excellent and smart cuts to the basket. This really stood out to me because it was exactly the opposite of what Tex said about Odom.

ROY is a prototypical Phil Jackson PG, he's 6'6, can shoot a high percentage 15-20 ft jumpshot (his 3pt shot is ???), he can post up point guards, he's a slasher and can dish out assists, and he's not a defensive liability like Morrison would be (imagine Morrison taking on the likes of Shawn Marion, LOL we would be DONE!!!), so if SOMEHOW we got the #4 pick we would have a good shot at picking him up
