SHould LA look at Felton for the future PG?

Felton's is having trouble getting a deal with Cha. We can offer him a 1 yr deal at the MLE with the understanding we will resign him after with our bird rights. We need a PG of the future. And LO is too greedy and was always very inconsistant, besided this last few month.

Each team only is allowed one MLE signing. We used ours for Artest.

Felton is no better than Farmar. If he was Charlotte would have signed him by now. If Farmar gets minutes this year he will improve and he still could be the next Nash. Let Fisher sit this year and Farmar will emerge a star, same thing happened to Nash at the beginnning of his run.

Although Nash and Farmar don't play a lick of defense the comparisons end there. Nash has excellent court vision and is a great passer, Farmar has tunnel vision and has trouble with the post entry pass, Nash can stroke it and hit free-throws, Farmar takes horrible shots and is one of the worst FT shooters for a guard.

Farmar is done in LA. The Shannon Brown signing indicates to me that Farmar will be traded.

As for Felton, he doesn't shot a very good percentage and I don't think he would be a good fit for LA.

Odom/Farmar for Felton/Wallace?
Never mind, Bobcats were trying to shed salary by trading Wallace so they wouldn't want Odom anyways.

The reason Nash sat is because he had Sam Cassel, Jason Kidd, and Kevin Johnson in front of him for his first years.

Not every point guard he doesn't get playing time ends up becoming a star, when they get to play

We have already used our MLE and if we give him less than three years we won't have his Bird Rights.

I like this a lot, Although I don't think Felton is a huge upgrade he's very consistent better passer.

Gerald Wallace is an upgrade from IMO and younger

As long as Phil is here sitting on his tall chair, you won't likely see Felton in purple and gold. Not exactly PJ's man.

Felton really isn't that big of an upgrade over Farmar. I have NO clue why he gets over 30 mins a game. He really sucks.

Nash's first 4-5 seasons weren't anything to crap your pants over. His FT % and his 3pt % shined, his assists we're mediocre. I remember watching him thinking MEH get a real PG. He went ape balls the next seasons and kept getting better and better.

People laugh at Farmar but I still see something in the kid I wouldn't count him out just yet. I think he'll shine whenever he ends up whether it's staying in LA (very unlikely now) or the new team who signs him. Some of you are way to hard on the young fellas these days. I really think he may be a late bloomer mentally/physically/skill wise he seems very immature still just in interviews and the way he looks. There's quite a bit of growing up to do with him I think.
