should LA sign tinsley?

should LA sign tinsley?

Postby tmpl924 on Thu Jul 23, 2009 6:58 am

He career averages are 10 ppg, 7 apg 3.4 rpg, 1.7 spg. He grew up in Brooklyn and is 31 so he must know LO and Artest well from the NY BBall leagues? Sign him cheap if it doenst work cut him but we should nake him a low offer since no one wants him. He is a good PG who can dish the ball well

Considering we could only offer the vet minimum, and we are 3 deep at point guard, this has no chance of happening. He isn't exactly triangle offense friendly either.

only if the Lakers clear some room with a trade (i.e., Farmar leaving)... otherwise there's no room for him...

Yes. He was FANTASTIC last season.

Plus, he knows how to throw down with Ron Artest. He's a stand up citizen AND we clearly need a point guard with a positive attitude who is not volitile in the slightest.

I'd be willing to give him LO's salary and then try to sign Danny Fortson.

Then, and only then, can we possibly repeat as Champs.

He got shot at in BROAD day light in front of a Hotel in Indy, I can only imagine what he did to get that but IF he can do that in Indy just think what would happen if he was in LA :man4:

I would definitely sign him if we weren't 3 deep at the position. If we can somehow trade Farmar and Sasha, that would be nice. Tinsley is a real talent and he's also been a part of a very successful teams. Being around PJ, Kobe, and Fish would straighten out anyone. When you have uncontested leaders on a squad, it smooths things out.
Derek Fisher is the heart and soul of this team- Kobe(Black Mamba)
When we win it, it's going to taste much sweeter knowing I played with the injury- Andrew(Lionheart)
Tomorrow is another opportunity to accomplish great things- Pau(Pauwer)
Ron Artest is the Game 7 MVP- Phil(Zen Master)
Q:Pierce says series isn't coming back to LA? A: [Mean Stare]- Derek(President)
If we don't win the championship, it's my fault- Ron(Tru Warier)

Actually it was like at 2 AM in the morning in Downtown Indy not broad daylight no way can you be in front of the Conrad in broad daylight and have someone shoot at you.

No. I'd rather have Farmar to be honest.

yeah, lets go for it...go after every free agent/released/waived player..eventhough the FO have already stated that we'll retain only 13 player on our roster. Let's go get them all :man2:

come on dude you post better than this, stop beating around the bush. Tell us how you really feel because this post is way to vague for me. Do you want him or not? :man1:
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

I thought he got shot at twice? The 2nd time was the day time one where one of Indy trainers got hit by one of the bullets?

No it was around 2 AM in the Morning and the trainer got hit by one of the bullets and has since sued Tinsley over the incident. Tinsley got shot at but he was never hit.

The other shooting incident you might be thinking of was that Strip Club on the West Side of town with Stephen Jackson at Club Rio(rather ghetto considering its next to a car wash) which was months before that.
