On No!!! Please don't give anyone ideas like this. Haven't you heard that Mitch is very impressionable? That is a ton of money to take on for a guy who can destroy a locker room faster than that Japanese guy can eat 50 hotdogs. It never siezes to amaze me every time I watch that event.

It wouldnt be bad. He is a big explosive guard that has and can D. Gets to the hole. I would like to see our options though

You constantly bash Mitck K. but you'd want Steve Francis? I'm glad you aren't our GM.

I didnt say he was my 1st choice, I didnt even say he would be the choice. All I said is that he wouldnt be bad, but I would like to see our options. Yes, until Kupdumb actually puts pieces around Kobe that compliment both he and the tri I will continue to clown him. Also you would want me as your GM, B/C last year i wanted Granger 2nd to only Paul. I too would have drafted Prince and Booz, because I liked what they had to show for their careers coming out of college.

I also like to think I have some foresight, and judging how well caron played at the end of his last Laker season would have netted us more than Kwame. Artest would be here instead of LO. I'll stop

Stevie Franchise is somewhat similar to Ron Harper when he was on the Clippers. In Harp's early years, he scored 20+ points per game with roughly 4 assists per game and, 2 steals per game. If he comes to the Lakers, I'm sure Phil would change his game a bit.

I think Franchise would be an excellent addition.....but not at that price.

Doesn't pass the rock? His career assists per game is over 6......that's typical for a starting pg, not named Nash or Kidd.

He's a better scorer than Nash and Kidd, so give or take. Plus, his assists have been going down--only 3.5 apg last season with New York.

Francis will only be good when he's 36 years old with zero rings playing as an 8th or 9th man on our squad. He's got talent, but his playing style doesn't formulate into wins.

We're better off getting Jamal Crawford from my Knicks.

Crawford has all the pieces we need to make us better, and all the aspects.

Crawford can play the 1, can shoot, can drive, and is very athletic.

He also plays D and is a good defender. He also doesn't complain a lot either, and Phil can also make him a great player.

He can also create his own shot, drive and score, score off the dribble with a shot, make open shots and 3's, and got that mid-range J, open or not.

Plus like I said he's quick and fast as hell and athletic. So he can defend quick PG's just like we want. And shoot and drive, the perfect PG.

And he can bring the ball up court, and handle it nicely.

And then look at the fact that the triangle doesn't need a real PG, that's why we shoulda/coulda gone after Arenas/Terry. They're both not really natural PG's, or great PG's, or have good PG skills, but screw that, we don't need that in the triangle. They can both shoot, which is the only thing needed, and both offensively great, can drive and whatnot, and play D.

Too bad the chances of Isiah trading Jamal is 1 in a million, he definetly won't trade him since he's wearing his # now.
Kobe!
Go Knicks.

LA will never get a dominant PG to play with Kobe. It just doesn´t make much sense specially knowing about Jax affinities.
