Shaq for Kwame, Cook, Radman, Sasha


Why?
1. Miami needs to make changes. They can't win with the same line-up. Kwame's contract ends next year, giving them cap flexibility and a potential run at KG.

2. Lakers get a back-up and another mentor to Bynum. Kareem focuses on the skyhook and finesse of playing as a skinny center while Shaq serves as the strengths coach and teaches the power game.

3. Lakers jettison Cook (no defense and always too hungry to shoot the 3), Radman (lost in the Triangle and defensive liability), Kwame (too erratic), and Sasha (not aggressive enough)

Won't work. Being totally unrealistic here.

God no! I've never been too big of a fan of Shaq. I think he's had enormous natural talent, but never reached his true potential. He could quite possibly have been as great as Wilt or Russell, but he's lazy.

He always shows up the start of the season over weight and out of shape. The only two times he didn't were the year Kobe was going through all his drama (which he had the gall to get upset that Kobe wasn't in tip top shape for the for the only time in his career...) and his first year with Miami (now that he's won one with them he's back to being lazy...).

That being said, I do grudgingly admit that it was a bad idea to trade him, originally. As they say, "Never trade a big man!"

I also think they should have gotten more than they did for him.

Now he's getting old though, and he's still lazy.

They can do much better.

Miami is not going to trade him. The Heat and the Mavs getting ousted in the first-round is a disappointment, but it's an overreaction to blow the teams up.

They'll be back to the elite next year.

Doh! Riley just said that he isn't trading Shaq.

Thank God! Riley's still helping the Lakers out after all these years...

Matter of opinion. I don't think you can make anyone eilte for the next season until you see : draft, free agency, injuries, Shaq's eating schedule.

Don't be sold on Dallas either. They may never recover from coming from ahead to lose the Finals ala the Kings after Rob Horry's shot...

Oh and dont forget 4............Shaq and Kobe both look like huge idiots and hipocrits, they would both love to cap off their careers with that one!!!

Riley said he's not trading Shaq, and I'm pretty positive we wouldn't bother calling if he said he was going to trade him. It's senseless.
