Is there any way we can get KG?

I think the Lakers need to go out and get KG some how. We should give them mihm,bynum, and george for KG.

even if the salaries match minny won't do it. how in the world does someone give a superstar for players of that caliber.

Wolves won't accept our scurbs for KG.
KG is superstar caliber player and they can get way better package for him.

man we couldn't get mark madsen with that trade

There is a chance we could get him. But first all of these things need
to fall into place:
1. He has to request to be traded to the Lakers. And Minny Ok's his request.
2. The Lakers have to be willing to give up there "core"
3. The Lakers give up Parker/George, Bynum, Odom, Draft pick and $.

I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that Minny likes Parker/Bynum alot. And Odom is a must. So if all of those things happen and the salaries match up. THen yes there is a chance.

Even if we got Garnett. It would be a 2 man team for like 2 or 3 years. That wont work. It would take a couple years to get some good role players and a bench. By then Garnett would be 31 and Kobe would be 30.

i'd give odom+brown+bynum+picks for KG

Odom + Bynum + Mihm + Devean Geroge + picks for KG + Jaric should satisfy both sides.

Jaric/Smush/Sasha
Kobe/Rush/Wafer
Walton/Profit
Garnett/Turiaf
Brown/Cook

Next summer, we could start attracting better players.

Brown, Mihm, George, Mckie, Jackson and maybe even Green for Garnett and Griffin

Odom is under the top 5 allrounders! And bynum is a talented young player who really could improve the lakers in a few years.
I think this would be ok:
odom + bynum (maybe) + mihm + picks...

The only hope is if KG DEMANDS a trade to the Lakers.
