Getting KG for LO is wishful thinking. It won't happen without more talent and a pick or 2 (or 3)...

All of these players are as versatile as LO (or more). They have all proven more than capable to get the job done on the offensive end without any prodding.

IMHO, We got jacked by trading Shaq to Miami for a bunch of role players, that includes LO & not including a another team. We could have gotten Boozer, who I think is a good fit for the triangle offense with his back to the basket offense + a tenacious rebounder. I never been a big fan of LO (just look at my nick 24/8 instead of 24/7) who always plays out of position by trying to be a point guard & racking up 3 pointers. We lack toughness, one who can pound the ball in the middle & make mid range shots (ala James Worthy, & Karl Malone) We didn't get it with Grant, too old already w/ bad knees, Caron good offensive skills but was undersize & Kwame, hands of stone, lack of offensive skills. So what's next???

This might not be a good idea because kobe and lamar are working well together. And next year with both of them healthy we might be a dominant force in the west. :jam2:

Been hoping for JO for years. I feel like Bynum's going to be better. Two or three years. Next year he'll start to make us feel like he's going to be the shizznizzle.

Marquis is this year's Raja Bell for me. I said pick Raja up for the MLE when he was a free agent. Now I'm saying make a trade for Marquis Daniels.

That way, you can let Smush, Shammond and McKie go.

If we could pull this off, here is the potential lineup:

Kwame/Bynum
JO/Turiaf/Cook
Vlad/Luke/Evans
Kobe/Evans/Sasha
Marquis/Farmar/Sasha

We'd be giving up a good pick and a Center, if Mihm can prove he's healthy. I'd throw in Cook, Sasha or Evans just to make it happen.

They will likely want Farmar and/or Turiaf. maybe Bynum (which will not happen). IF they don't get any better offers (KG/Gasol) it just might happen.

1. Improves our PG situation and provides a better role model for Farmar to follow.

2. JO is more of a triangle PF (can hit the mid range jumper) and can block shots.

Indy saves money and LA gets an all star PF. Can play LO at PF and use Kwame with Foster at C.

Resign Mihm and you have Bynum, Mihm, Turaif, Cook and JO as your bigs. All can play C if needed. All but Bynun can play PF.

Luke and Vlad at SF. Kobe and Mo at SG. Tinsely and Farmar at PG.

If there were anyone i would trade Lamar for, the only persn would be jermaine o'neal, but if you watched the second half of game 4, you can tell Lamar wants to win and can see what he can do when aggressive. If Lamar doesn't setttle for jumpshots and goes down in the post a little more, he and Kobe can form an even better tandom. i'm excited for next year. The Lakers just need to make a few moves and stay healthy next year

Ever wonder why LO isn't more highly regarded? He's an extremely talented player.

It's because he will only do this every other game. Inconsistency...

I feel for LO. I understand that he's having problems but he wasn't meshing with Kobe even before all of that.
