Updated Proposed trade: LA, TOR, PORTLAND

Postby kobe4pres08 on Sat Jun 03, 2006 11:04 pm

LA Outgoing:
Cook
Mihm
McKie
Future Toronto 2nd pick (You know Mitch loves them)

LA Incoming:
Miles
Blake

Why: We add a PG with Blake, Miles is a perfect fit for the TRI.

Portland Outgoing:
Miles
Blake
#4 Pick
#31 pick

Potland Incoming:
McKie
Cook
#1 pick (Aldridge)

Why: Unloads salary which helps their cap and helps sell the team to potential buyers, Gets expiring contracts, gets Aldridge with #1 pick.
---------------------------

Toronto Outgoing:
#1 pick

Toronto Incoming:
#4 pick (Bargnani)
#31 pick
Mihm

Why: The get a Center to help Bosh, Draft Bargnani at #4 which is the player they wanted all along anyway. Plus they keep their salary cap space intact.

What do you think, looks like it works well with all teams to me!!!

But they aren't playing in Western Conference and if Mitch would make this deal, I'd be satisfied...

Pretty good deal. Everyone is sastisfied pretty evenly.

We get a PG to backup Banks when we sign him
We get Miles to play SF and Odom at the PF
Only thing is I rather put Smush instead of Cook though.

Portland gets rid of a big salary and a player they don't like in Miles
Stil get the 1st overall pick.

Toronto gets some vets and still get the 4th pick.
Strikemode14 is the greatest.

Why are there proposed trades to get Darius Miles? Isn't he like the biggest cancer in the NBA?

The only trade I want to hear with Portland is one that lands us the 4th. If not, forget it.
Unless we can get Bassy.

How about:

1. trade Mihm, McKie, Cook and #26 for Miles and P J Brown.
2. sign Stevenson/Fred Jones and Rush/Profit

Then the lineup will be:

Brown/Bynum
PJ Brown/Turiaf
Odom/Miles/Walton
Bryant/Stevenson or Jones/Rush or Profit
Parker/Vujacic
