What can the Lakes offer for Joe Johnson?

Atlanta is willing to deal. People are gonna say no way, but Kenny and Charles said that, after their playoff exit this year, that Atlanta's current formula is getting them kicked out in the 1st round. Hawks management know this too. If the offer is right, then they will move pieces.

Lakers need a consistent outside shooter. Joe Johnson Wild do wonders for the offense and really open it up for the bigs.

Lol yeah. Amnesty the guy who is the main reason people even come to ATL games. And then on top of that, you still have to pay the guy lolol.

Better question, why the hell would the Lakers want Joe Johnson. He's a borderline (and that's being kind) all star who only makes that team because he's in the East. Steve Nash got this guy paid, and damn is he overpaid, especially for someone who consistently shrinks in the playoffs.

I don't see what the big deal is with going over the salary cap and having to pay extra taxes. If the player is right, like Joe Johnson, then you get him. We need outside shooting.

Seriously. Kobe is one of the all time bests in the game. You spend whatever you need and pay extra taxes these next 3 years and go for it. It is stupid to waste Kobe's last years because you don't wanna pay over-the-salary cap taxes.
