What If the Wolves miss the playoffs this year and KG finally demands a trade, and for some reason he demands a trade 2 Lakers only. (since he does have a no-trade clause) Would you give up after the season....

Would you that after this season? If thats the only deal the Wolves will take? Would you do it even if Lamar comes out this year has a monster year like he did in the playoffs and Vlad is real Solid, and if Bynum shows major improvment, but we still get bounced from the 1st or 2nd round?

i dont know that seems like a little too much. Thats a tough one.

But its interesting that he has a no trade clause so he could basically pick which team he would want to be traded to. I never realized that...hmmm

hell yes u do this in a heart beat. u know kg gonna give ua 1000%

night in night out. if we got kg that would put us back in title hunt.

and the t-wolves are gonna suck don't surprise if kg wants a trade

before the trade deadline.

We obviously lose alot of depth...but, damn. I just don't know if I'd give up that much, especially if KG demanded a trade.

if you take bynum and radmanovic out of the equation and throw in kwame+fillers. bynum could start alongside kg. francisco elson's gonna start alongside duncan and kg>duncan, bynum>elson.

My calendar must be off, I didn't know it was time for a KG thread again.

Seriously though, it would depend on how KG looks this year. He has a lot of mileage on those wheels and it's catching up with him. Plus is KG + KB + scrubs going to win a ring? How many years would it take for them to mesh?
I would probably still do it though. KG>Odom, I'm not a Radman believer and Bynum is still a big maybe. Kobe isn't going to be this good forever, we should get the most out of his prime.

Another thread about KG. It won't end until the guy has been retired 5-6 years.

Getting KG without Odom and Bynum would be impossible... unless you wanted to trade Kobe.

Does Minny want inconsistent Odom, never-proved-my-hype Bynum, and the rest of our scrubs? No. They want expiring contracts, star players, young talent, or high draft picks. Chicago, for example, would be able to give Minny a LOAD of talent.

You can say, why wouldn't the Wolves want Odom and Bynum to add to their young team... they'd have potential! Give me a break, this is Garnett we're talking about.

But then again, I wouldn't be opposed to having this as my starting line-up next year.

Lamar,Vlad, and MImh(s&t) for hold up as Im looking at KGs salary(http://hoopshype.com/salaries/minnesota.htm) I see he can just opt out.We swoop in and get a 20-10-5 player for the MLE(paycut).But it really depends on if KG would take a pay cut to win at least 2 rings. check this team out
