Without big movements

Without big movements

Is it possible to get some players without big movements? i.e. at point-guard and small forward position.

Chauncey Billups (via free-agency, nearly impossible but...)
Mike Bibby (via trade)
Jason Kidd (via trade but not forgetting his age in the exchange)

Mike Miller
Al Harrington (G.S. still would have Jason Richardson and Stephen

Is it possible with players as Chris Mihm (a center is always needed but so many teams), Brian Cook...? This year it has been a hard year with too many injuries but... Could the Lakers be competitive without too many movements?

1- Mike Bibby/Jordan Farmar
2- Kobe Bryant/Mo Evans
3- Luke Walton/Vlad Radmanovic or...
4- Lamar Odom/Ronny Turiaf
5- Kwame Brown/Andrew Bynum

I can´t say via Draft because I don´t know too many players.

Is that possible? Is that a competitive team?

Please, why on earth would Sacramento trade us Bibby for Mihm (who hasn't played a game in 1.5 years, and who is also currently a FA) and Cook?

They already axed a trade this last trade deadline because they don't want to trade to their rivals.

No team is gonna give us their star for our scrubs...chances are 0.000000000001 especially when its a franchise like the Queens that THINK they are our rivals...(in reality they never were)

It was not literal

Of course, it wasn´t literal Chris Mihm and Brian Cook for Mike Bibby, it was just to say if you can get an interesting player without losing Kobe, Lamar, Bynum and Kwame.

For example, Steve Francis was traded for an injured and old Penny Hardaway and Trevor Ariza; Doug Christie traded to Knicks for "nothing" in exchange; Baron Davis for Dale Davis and Speedy Claxton... and so many examples in the NBA history.

Go Lakers!!

I don't think people realize we arent gonna get anything great. Maybe Charlie Bell caliber at best. Trade wise we can do something big, if the front office wants it bad enough.
