word is that marcus banks is headed to l.A

the word is that the lakers have been tryibg to land banks for couple of years know, and the word is he will finally be a laker this upcoming season. Minesota is looking to replace banks via draft, knowing banks has told them he will not be back, the lakers are 1st on his list. [/b]

this is 100% true. i was on a nba website and is said that banks was being pursued by the spurs and lakers. the spurs would make no sense because they already have tony parker, van exel, and udrich. so the lakers is banks's only choice!

I don't think Banks who has been on the bench most of his career would want to sign somewhere that will force him to be a bench player again long-term. Seeing that Parker already gets big minutes he will be fighing Urich just to get off the bench.

If Banks actually wants to see the court it's pretty clear the lakers is his best option. Plus in the past he has already said his dream is to play with the lakers. If the lakers offer the MLE he will be wearing a laker jersey period.
